The “Madelaine”, a tiny tea dessert, which, in its modest simplicity, turns on a light in the darkness of consciousness, and allows a lost memory to re-emerge unexpectedly.

This passage of M. Proust’s masterpiece, which, volume after volume, tells the stages of the protagonist’s life, celebrates the power of the involuntary memory, that breaks into our present, despite time had apparently suppressed it.

The senses become a gateway to reminiscence.

Four chapters, four stages of life, four memories that re-emerge, for four are the essential elements that inspire the standard collection of BE WATER Lamp: Water,  Fire,  Air  and  Earth.

Even if what we see is a dance of light, it can make the most powerful emotion re-emerge through our senses.

BE WATER lamp takes the shapeless form of WATER, the cradle of life.

The first of four chapters, dedicated to the most ductile element, to the most primordial memory.

The purity of the first childhood discoveries. Those small, simple gestures, to touch, to feel, to sense water, in all its forms and states.

For this first Chapter we invite you to let your senses open the doors to unexpected reminiscences, of a carefree, sweet, pure moment of your life.

The second of four chapters, dedicated to the element that most of all is bonded to warm feelings and passions.

Fire speaks the most intimate stories; reminiscences of young adolescent spirits full of fervor, who experience passion for the first time through shy caresses, in a moment of carefree conviviality.

For this second Chapter we invite you to reconnect with this flame and let your senses rekindle it.

BE WATER lamp, in its BE EARTH chromatic variation, takes the shapes and shades of EARTH, the unpredictable dance of the elements moved by the wind, identified in the fragrant beauty of a blooming lavender field.

The last of four chapters: “Wisdom of age”.
Touch the Earth to absorb all her strength and energy, rely on her.
Sense all her support, under your bare feet.
Stop and feel. Reflect.

Realize that we are each other’s continuation, as rings of a timeless chain, as drops of water in a river of Life.

For this fourth Chapter we invite you to calmly reflect, meditate.
Touch the Earth to remind yourself that we are Earth and part of Life.
Touch the Earth to become wise as a tree that sinks its roots down into the ground, while aiming to the sky.

Witness, with serenity, the solemn power of time.
